Meet Evalyn Linah

Evalyn Linah is a children’s author, illustrator and classical singer. She was born in the Philippines and grew up in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Evalyn studied classical music throughout her childhood and college but continued to ignite her passion for writing. The Only Star, The Chosen Light is her first debut picture book. Her children’s literature highlights the importance of self confidence, friendship and courage. When she’s not writing, you can find Evalyn exploring new hiking trails, painting and enjoying musical theater.
